Manitoba | I had first got shingles when I was in grade 5, got them again once a year and could almost plan it on a calendar mid winter, always a small patch on the side of my face. That lasted for 6-8 years and then i stopped getting them, I am 30 now and they have showed up a couple more times since. I have been leary of what is going to happen to me as i age, if it is going to get worse or better. My dad had them once when he was in his early fifties and then my grandmother got them the next year, both had them much worse than I ever did.
I heard about this vaccine but not sure if I should get it, or if I somehow have some kind of natural immunity now. | |
