I also had a Liberty safe with an electronic lock quit working. Locksmith spent 2 days trying to replace the mechanism before Liberty gave him the go ahead to just cut into the safe. I got a new larger safe with a dial. Takes longer to open, but could never depend on the electronic pad working every time.
