Friend gave me some frozen deer sausage the other day. No smoked just raw. Said to put it in cold water and bring to a boil for 45 minutes and good to go. Doesn't sound too good to me. Thinking thaw and smoke. Was told to just smoke it frozen. Any suggestions? Thanks
