I tend to agree on the early aggressiveness. I know we saw a lot of producer hedging on the January upswing and on the low from a couple of weeks ago around $10.00. Guys were trying to get $10.00 in Nov while it was still available. It's a little early for that.

A poster, I think rab1964, mentioned a little while back that all the Nov highs have occurred in May, June, July, or August for at least 10 years. May was the high in 2014. One unmentioned difference between now and then is the spread between old and new. Back then, the high of $12.79 was set while the nearby was over $15.00. I don't know how it will play out for sure, but I think that is important to mention as well.

Like IN555 mentioned, the market may want to see that the acre switch is real. In 2014, we rose from the Jan 31 low over $1.90 including through the planting intentions report.
