| I recall reading an article written by U of I economists (Good?) about the "new era" corn price. It was written about 3 years ago and warned than corn would spend a fair amount of time under $4 because of how much time we spent over $6. His argument, which I bought into, is that the new era price range for corn is roughly 3.50 to 5.50. Without looking I'd say a 10 year chart would average out close to 4.50 validating his argument. That said shouldn't we be close to gravitating back toward the middle of that range? Maybe I am too optimistic?
After all low prices WILL cure low prices just like high prices cured high prices.
