over taxed nebraska | crp basically broke pawnee county Nebraska 25 years ago. poor land and large percentage was bid in and that left main street and schools with little business or kids, nothing to do but watch grass grow. nothing for a young family to do and about as far away from any metro area in all directions, so they left in droves killing little mainstreets which need all the help they can get anyway.
that money got put away, not recirculated. no supplies to buy or repairs needed, nothing to support business. | |
