Definitely interesting, I think oil-price inflation in the 70s had factors other than abandonment of the gold standard however. And if oil is as easily and cheaply produced as he insists, I don't know what that implies for inflation. Finally, it will be interesting to see if the Russians and Chinese can establish trade clearing that inspires enough confidence to take root.
