Before I bought my 12-bar I rented a 16. It did a nice job...almost too nice. I decided to get a 12 and am very happy with it. The more bars you run the harder they pull which also puts more down pressure on each bar. For my ground the 12 seems ideal. It's the most common version in my area. It would be the last implement to leave this place.
