west central Iowa | My son decided he wants to go to some cold weather cattle shows this year (his last year). We have a heated place to wash, but it would be nice for us and the cattle to have warm water. I have an extra Marathon water heater, but we we don't usually heat the wash rack all the time so I was wondering if it would be practical to fill the water heater and heat it only when we need it and then drain it again. I don't know how long it would take to heat up the water after you fill it or how much trouble it would be. Just wondering if this was feasible or if I should work on tightening up the building and keeping it warm all the time. It would be nice to have a place to put stuff where it wouldn't freeze, no heated shop yet. Thanks in advance | |
