NE Iowa | I blend a 10% dry boron product with mostly potash every fall. I've never pan tested and counted particles but it seems to stay blended pretty well. The particle size is slightly smaller than potash but every time I adjust / check the spreader the mix on the belt looks the same. I think the fact that both the potash and boron being irregular shaped it tends not to separate as much as if it were perfectly shaped consistent prills. | |
