Some soils have high levels of mineralization of p. Manure applications years ago helps too. Here spending the p budget on pattern tiling is better ROI in most fields. Then let the tile ROI pay for p.
K is just the opposite here. This year I am moving my p budget into the K budget due to cheap potash and soil test results.
