Subject: I have a question about the soybean rally.

Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
Can anyone besides Don Moffat honestly say they saw the current soybean rally coming? I know I didn't. In fact, I've been surprised how well the price has held up the past few months. I know that some "fork" guys have projected prices in this range but can they honestly say it had to happen and happen just now? While the proximate cause is supposedly the excess rain in Argentina, I have trouble understanding how an as yet realized loss of production can drive the market this much.
But then again, what do I know.
It makes me suspect that somebody knows something that I don't but given the rally should we all have heard about it by now?
