N.W. Ohio | Agree on the old and the new spreads being dangerous. But would it really be that dangerous to push the envelope to short a few contracts on the Nov17 to initiate a hedge on the 18 crop? With the intention of not necessarily holding onto those shorts all the way thru? Just seems like with the corn/bean ratio where it currently is and the talk of a lot of additional bean acres, that a person would have the opportunity to buy them back at a profit sometime before this fall. I know, I know..... sounds to simple, and it never is simple. | |
