Radio can be in port C or D and I would have to check the port expander on the Tru-Tracker. I think Tru-Tracker, like Auto Pilot, uses the RX/TX port. If so, and you are using internal GPS1 for steering, both port C & D are out of commission. The other option would be use a classic Auto Pilot setup with a 372 which then the Auto Pilot uses port A which frees up C for radio.
Correct. There are always a couple of unsupported ways as well. If using classic autopilot with Tru-Tracker, the implement has to use the external GPS, which will free up port D, because the implement Nav now goes into port A. This does work ok, except now you need 2 of those external radios to feed corrections into the FMX, as well as the External GPS Receiver. You may get away with splitting the signal if the distance isn't too big, but RS232 doesn't normally like long distances and can cause issues for both receivers. |
