Remember where ND is. Pay the freight both ways. Not much fertilizer production up here. End users are pretty thin here also. Railroad is not cheap. Basis on beans is -$1.00, corn is -.70 - .80, wht is - .45-- .75. Frosts have occurred in mid august- kinda hard on beans and corn. 10 yr corn APH's have 15, and 200. Beans have 12 and 60. Make sure You pencil in those things before thinking it is a slam dunk. Have been a couple guys from southern MN, IA, come up here to show us how to grow beans. The lasted 2-3 yrs, and then were gone. Came up here and paid stupid rent for below avg dirt, found out the weather does not always cooperate.
