Fry....you do raise a very valid question in my mind. Whether we want to admit it or not farming is competitive. Anyone can make money at $14 assuming they have beans to sell. But the low c.o.p. farmer can do it for $8 while the other farmer looking to steal land out from under them has thinner margins (higher c.o.p.). So no I don't like $14 beans...I do not like 400 cash rent from those bursting at the seams..I do not like cut throat operations...who want to farm beyond others' expectations. | |
