Ne Nebraska | I looked at doing this with Dad's 8RW and you have to get 6 rows on the center bar. the outside rows were just where hinged. From what I can find the 8RW bar is 4" narrower than the 12-30" bar, those extra two inches on each end of the center bar were what I was missing. Thought about moving rows at the hinge back with some kinda plate. The reason I thought this might work was I was going to go V- Drive with the planter. If you want to keep mechanical drive I don't think it could work.
Long story short, I bit the bullet and bought a 1760 12-30". | |
