Subject: Why farmers don't believe market reports.

Oklahoma
Just a snippet of the email from my marketing guys. This kind of crap is why us farmers don't believe a word contained in market reports. There is no way, no how that HRW acres are only down 5%. Not even close to reality on the ground. Not to mention many, many of those acres have been geared to grazing instead of grain production. I may get made fun of for being a bit tin foilish on the market report conspiracies but this kind of disconnect happens way too often with ag commodities. I don't even have enough faith in the truth coming out to sell out and buy calls because we live in such an augmented reality that the truth may never come to bear.

HRW is $2 below COP and acres are only down 5%? SMH.
