S Illinois | Once again market analysts are morons when it comes to export reports. We did not have cancellations of 900k. What we had was 877tmt of sales to unknown finally given a destination. Not sure why they can never put the proverbial 2 and 2 together and realize that shipments are never made to unknown and therefore they must be switched. Nothing more, nothing less.
The weeks tally was: New sales of 164.6 tmt, destination changes(unknown switches) of 877tmt cancellations of 77.1tmt. After this week we need somewhere around 250tmt net sales each week to reach the USDA number.

Edit:Not trying to say sales were good however. More along the lines of a small disappointment. The biggest error was those expecting 1MMT+ in sales at this time of year.
