I am not sure I agree that it doesn't matter. If your truck is carrying 60,000 pounds of soybeans, using the 60# standard you have 1,000 bushels. If you changed the standard to 58# you would now be carrying 1,034 bushels. Since beans are priced on a bushel basis, wouldn't you be better off with the 58# standard?
