Rates should go up. Your social security depends on it. SS trust fund invests heavily in T bills. If the yield is significantly less than inflation guess what? Program runs out of money a lot faster. Healthy interest rates = healthy social security program. And then we won't have to jack it to 15% down the road to make up for lost time down near 0%.
