Yes, the majority (about 60%) of my customers are in CA. I started there because of the way the climate has changed over the last several decades. The program works very well there. Also, the "local" agents in CA don't know much about federal crop insurance on forage and pasture, so it gives me an advantage.
I'm licensed in 25 states, and currently have customers in CA, NV, NM, TX, OK, KS, MO, MN, ND, SD, NE, MT, ID and NY.
I expect to ad TN, AL, MI, AZ, FL in 2017, plus where ever else I can drum up some business.
I put on 55,000 miles in 2016 and expect to put on about 75,000 in 2017. Makes me sick even thinking about driving that much.
