Ontario's middle east | A year ago front month(ch6) was trading just over 350. March 2017 was 390. Today CH7 is just over 350..... and you guessed it, CH8 is about 390. I am by no means saying that today is THE day to sell new crop corn. I think there will be a seasonal bulge in the spring. I am merely pointing out that in times of adequate stocks in the past, this is how corn markets behaved. If nothing else it should be a compelling reason to consider getting some new crop corn sold on a rally. The opportunity to sell the carry on old crop was discussed last summer. That ship aint coming back IMO | |
