Subject: RE: Health care cost drain on equity

Trump had issues 2 & 5 listed on his campaign web page that sort of maybe began to address these issues. Thing is insurance across state lines was never going to reign in the out of control costs. Only enforcing 15 USC does that.

I notice the statements post election have backed away from these 2 important issues. Hillary, however,  would have continued the status quo and doubled down on the economic destruction. So a chance at reform vs no chance at reform was still the best choice in my view.

Trump as a businessman should be acutely aware of the healthcare cost problem and what it will take to solve it. I'm afraid he won't do it though based on the language that seems to back away from #2 & #5. It would mean an instant depression as 15-19% of the economy implodes. However, it would be quick and over with, where a true recovery could begin and the cost structure improves so much that businesses would be coming here from everywhere to build and compete. It's also the only way to address the serious funding and budgetary issues going forward. Yes we still owe entirely too much  which will still be very painful to repay. The question is do we bleed to death immediately or apply a tourniquet that may cost us a arm or leg but will keep us alive ?

Make no mistake about it this was all due to blow up in the next 4 years no matter who was elected. My fear is the bought and paid for congress will stonewall real changes and pin a economic collapse as being Trumps fault as well as on the "supposedly" uninformed people who voted him in. (Congress will do anything to keep their money, power and influence intact)

Congress is bought by all sorts of interests and everything anymore is about being "extracted".

Want to know what people really want to see ? Somebody with passion and willingness to call out a bought congress ? And to acknowledge how it is a mathematical fact we are being extracted in all respects.

It might look something like this.
