Mid Michigan | We had that happen with a fuel supplier here in michgan. They always sent out the "pre pay" price to lock in winter prices. I did it sometimes but that year decided not to. My parents on the other hand gave the crook $2000 dollars they never seen again. That guy blew through millions of dollars worth of home heating oil and farm customers pre pay money and never paid any of it back. I'm not sure he even had a day of jail time for it. I never pre pay for anything nowdays. Any company could be gone tommorrow. I don't like gift cards for that reason. Been burned on those things too. Useless gift card to a compay that no longer exists because of a crooked owner or managers. | |
