West of Lincoln a little bit
We have Samaritan and it's going very well. Samaritan doesn't verify if a bill was paid before they share it. They will look to see if more discounts can be obtained, but needs are shared even if you haven't finished paying off the bills yet. In fact, many don't or can't, so they pay a little each month and then pay it all off once the money from Samaritan shares comes in. It's pretty quick too. Usually a couple months after turning in the bills you have money coming in to pay the bills off which is well before it would be sent to collections.

We are very happy members. And the discounts for not making the hospital deal with insurance can be awesome. Getting 50% around here in some cases.

A lot of the process can be done online now. Payments are still through the mail, but the forms can all be online and they're easy simple forms.
