Subject: RE: Big iron auctions

SE Nebraska

t-boss - 12/6/2016 06:59 I've bought and sold on Bid Iron before and the only complaint I have is they sometimes charge sales. I've never been charged sales tax at a farm auction so I don't understand why they have to do it. Cost me $1,000 on a bulldozer I bought.

Same thing for me also. Bought a dozer last year and they said thet had to charge sales tax on construction equipment even though it will be used on the farm. They would not back down. My tax accountant took care of it
