ne nebraska | I have a 2000 chevy with the auto transfer case, maybe it is an 01, cant remember for sure. Anyway, the transfer case is out. Has anyone tackled one of these on their own and rebuilt it? Considering a used one out of salvage yard, but don't want to run in to the same problem 6 months down the road. Not an expert in auto repair, but hold my own when it comes to most mechanical things, but have never been in to one of these auto shifting ones. I did repair one in a late 90's chevy 2500, but I assume they are quite different.
