If you would of hedged that corn on the board at the same time that you contracted that corn you then could of put it in the bin and rolled it and picked up the carry. I would also guess that you could have improved on the basis compared to hauling it in during harvest. I think you would of had a nice gain over that $3.80-$4.10 if you would of marketed it at the same. |
