Subject: "From the Plane"

Buxton ND
"Arlan was always pretty bullish and seemed to always think the USDA numbers were bogus"

He's been Mr Bull and Mr Bull since the drought has not worked out to well for him personally.
Give the farmers what they want to hear right ?
Guys LOVE anyone the continual questions the USDA correct ?
Laugh/tease/joke and make fun of the USDA I'd say 90% of farmers love it.

So lets roll back to last summer, yep those crop rating conditions, remembered those everything and their Uncle posts saying there full of manure (you can probably find at least a 100 of them WEEKLY)

Then today the buzz word in markets seems to be "There are piles/bags everywhere" Could it be those weekly crop conditions were CORRECT ? ? ?

Over the years I've heard reports "From the Plane" about,

Eastern corn belt flooding
North Iowa/South MN flooding
Frost damage in the spring
Frost damage in the fall. I did this my self with dry beans in 2004 it was a very humbling puddle jumper flight.
SDS
Drought of 2012
Water damage in ND
Flood damage from whatever river flooding.

It it time someone gives a "Pile Report" from the air ? ? ? I'm SERIOUS btw.
Get a nice sunny day and fly the eastern half ND/SD/MN and show the American Producers what we're up against.
Probably toss in Wisconsin and Kansas.
Plus a $100 bill for every field of CRP you could spot.....
What would you call this plane report ????????
