Read about these "good deals" all the time. Most of the time they turn into just what you'd expect. I've gotten free seed that was higher priced than paying full list for quality seed....junk. Seed is one of the things I won't compromise to save a few bucks up front only to lose big time in the end result
"Good deals" don't usually turn out to be good deals when the combine rolls. I won't compromise either and still plant the best genetics but get stuck paying the higher price because of where I am located. I am sure the guys in the lower priced zones love it, they get all the best genetics for way less than we pay.
Zone pricing for seed. Do you agree with it? And why can't we buy anywhere?
