Subject: win 10 sign in after monitor shuts off

East central Iowa

I have my laptop set to turn off the monitor after 10 minutes (now).

Every time I want to use it again after it's off the screen requires me to sign in.  I DON'T have a password.

So it's just click on the box and I go into windows.  I would much rather just click or move the mouse and go into windows.  I've looked high and low and it appears that because I don't put my computer to sleep or hibernate and don't have a password there's no way to do what I want.

It's aggravating to have to click on a pass word box especially when I don't even have a password.  Seems stupid.

Do any of you have an idea how I could skip this?  It doesn't require a password when I start the computer after having been shut off or restarting.  Just after it sets and the screen saver kicks in.

aargh
