I have to admit fall is a time more repairs are dealer repair be it combine or tractors. Not because I can't do the repairs but because I take advantage of that down time to bale stalks, work with cattle, hauls manure,do tillage. So I really don't see it as a huge cost to be down. My dealer treats me well and stands behind their work. I have them give it a professional once over ever year late spring early summer before combine rush for wheat! I feel my days in fall are more numbered and you need to get as much done as possible than the are in spring.
