Central Illinois
Just went through this last week. Put a new MCV pump on. Couldn't get it to prime. Take the bolt out of the back of the mcv below the clutch pedal, it takes a 5/8 wrench. Take that out start the tractor and turn the steering wheel back and forth. If oil still doesn't come out where you removed the 5/8 bolt then take a blow gun and put inside the fill tube on the platform and blow some air to it, make sure you get a good seal with blow gun. Leave the tractor running while you do this, but be ready to shut it off as soon as oil comes out or you will make a mess. Had a mechanic tell me this last week so I tried it and it worked like a charm.
