One of our sheds has been rented out for storage and we get couriers in multiple times a day. The Ford Transit and Merc Sprinter are the weapon of choice here. They certainly live fast a die young.

I sort of expect the off side of these vans to get damaged because they are quite big and long and have to get into some tight places, but the shear inventiveness of the damage inflicted on these vehicles is a joy to behold. One came in the a huge dent and scrape on the top of the right (drivers side) side toward the rear. Whatever it hit was very hard and didn't yield at all, like a raised excavator bucket. The driver was clearly too focussed on the next 4 drops to worry about his van.

A few years ago on one of our paved rural roads with gravel side roads, saw , cops and a wrecker to collect a corner crashed pair of UPS and FEDEX trucks . One on a gravel side road pulled out in front of the other on the paved road. I felt bad for the drivers, but thought it a bit funny that FEDEX and UPS took each other out. ;-)
