Subject: RE: 8.3 Cummins injection control valve replacement

Southeastern Tipton County, Indiana

Tomcat - 11/5/2016 22:34 R62 with 8.3 Cummins died going across the field. Neighbor got ahold of a buddy that works on Cummins. He brought out his laptop with Cummins quick serve and found codes 277 and 276 determined the injector control valve failed. So assuming we can find one how bad are they to change out? I will admit I lack confidence in myself.

Not too hard once you get the accumulator off of the top of the pump.
