ecpa | Planted into pure dust, no rain from early April to mid May. Yard was completely brown, Then the rains came. At the end of July it looked like a bumper crop. Then the July 27th .5 inch rain was the last until .5 on Aug 27. The period of 100 degree heat and wind killed the beans, maybe get 10-15 bu. Corn all died early with small kernels and low test wt. . Now my yard of crabgrass is once again thriving thanks to Ernesto's 2.5 inches. | |
