| Make sure the load/depth adjustment lever is set to "D". This is very important. As far as the 3 point being up or down, I leave it down to keep oil from dripping out of the case as it settles while I am trying to replace the bushings and seals.
Edit: I have the rockshaft confused with the load control shaft. My reply was in regard to load control shaft seal and bushing replacement. I am not familiar with the rockshaft repair procedure.
