northeastern Ohio | I have a Versatile 280. Road speed is about 29 mph, but it can get bouncy over 26 mph if the conditions are right (tongue weight, loaded/empty, ect). The hydraulics are better than the CIH 215 Magnum that it replaced (I run a 12 row CIH planter and the hydraulic drives run smoother with the Versatile which results in better seed spacing).
The only real issue that I have had is with the hydraulic couplers. I've replaced all eight with a "deluxe" newer design that seem to be working better. No major problems otherwise. | |
