Have you checked alignment of the tensioning idler pulley? There are step by step instructions in the manual about how to adjust it to make it track "square" with the belt and in line with the driving and driven pulleys.
If that's not the issue check for bearings getting hot (i.e. pulling hard) on the feederhouse
