SW Illinois | We had an STX375 that we pulled our tile plow with. Sticky mud wasn't an issue. But when you ran in standing water and thin, runny mud and then that night was very cold, it was a nightmare. It would run between the idlers and bogey wheels and the undercarriage and freeze solid by the next morning. It wouldn't budge. More than once we crawled around underneath with a piece of tile slipped over the exhaust pipe of a pickup to thaw it out. A propane torch works too, but you have to be careful. We traded for a wheeled tractor and solved that and many other problems. | |
