MN | The thing about corn piles. Well a couple of things.
1. They are expensive to make and pick up. Very labor intensive.
2. A bigger pile is better than a small pile.
So, the basis almost never takes a whack the size that would make it worthwhile for an individual to pile their grain. Almost always better off to let the elevator do it.
A million bushels getting rained on, not that big of a deal. 20,000, now it's a more serious situation. | |
