Years ago I planted turnips and had a bumper crop! I'd try to pass them off as scalloped potatoes with added cheese to hide the flavor.
If you prefer them raw, maybe toss with slivers of thinly sliced prosciutto (Italian dry cured ham) and a honey/balsamic vinegar dressing.
Or just drizzle them with olive oil.
Or make into a cole slaw.
