Subject: RE: 6130 rotor loss

SW Ontario
I'm running a 9 row 20" which is the same width. 6130 combine. Good corn...250bu. 20%. Rotor 280-320 rpm. Concave at 15. Fan around 1000. Sieves and shoe around 15 and 10. No rotor loss. Corn looks hand shelled. Are you actually getting loss or is your sensor just saying you are? Check the sensitivity level and also the grain type (big seed corn to small wheat). That sensor is very sensitive... maybe just needs to be dialed back. I think 60-70 % is high enough.
Would definitely not speed it up. If it's dry...under 25% you will really crack it up in my opinion. I'd try slowing it down and tightening it up. I'm running 4 straight bars and around 4 mph.

Good luck
