Southeast Iowa
3200 hours on 2366.

Before season put on wear bars on the elephant ears. New rasp bars, wow did that make a difference on performance.

Replaced the header drive belt and the sickle drive belt. About $3.50 an acre in preseason stuff.

In season a hole wore into the outside plate of the clean grain elevator. Welded a patch on.

I noticed with 10 acres left fines coming out the bottom of unloading tube. I said to myself just 10 more unloads and we will make it.

I counted them down and made it without repairing. When done and looking at the unload auger from a distance you could see the end of the unload was sagging about 4 inches.

Guess I know what it needs for next year.

Gary

Almost forgot- when switching heads between beans and corn noticed a slat missing on the feeder house chain. Replaced the bar with an old one I took out 3 years ago.

Where did that new bar go? Never heard it go through the combine.
