My May Wes worked in the mud this year. Wasn't terrible bad mud (probably a foot or so deep) but they didn't bother at all. I could see where if you were in deep enough that you'd have an issue backing out because the stompers are on the ground. Luckily it hasn't been that bad for me yet.
