We never, ever put our steak knives in the dishwasher. I don't think you can blame the dishwasher or the knives. I'd blame the owner.
Whats wrong with the dishwasher?Not clean enough? Its the fact that they are wet,clean or not, and oil free is why they rust in the first place.If you get them our of a diswasher and dry them good the rust issue gets a lot better.
