A really nice target pistol is a Ruger Mark III. (22LR) Then, if you get a trigger job done on it, they really shoot nice. Decent groupings at 50 yards are possible.

They are SO nice to shoot. I personally can't decently group at 50 yards with mine but can see how someone that knew what they were doing could.
