Knotters issues are directly related to keeping things clean. Using a powered rake or windrowing shredder rather than a wheel rake makes a big difference. A good blower system also helps a lot. I can run a long time without stopping with a good cross wind. My Krone baler has a big blower that keeps the whole knotter system clean as well. Can't help you with the Kuhn/Deere.
