Garland Maine | I have had fair luck, not 100% success mind you, but fair by using galvanized pipe to the nipple (or float on a tank) then wrapping the pipe with electric heat tape very closely Near and on to the nipple some then wrapping tightly with foam pipe wrap, then a layer of duct tape, then more insulation. Stick the nipple through a thin piece of plywood so they can just get to the end of it and it will work some of the time.
When it is cold enough for that to freeze I usually bring them a warm water mash for breakfast anyway. | |
